Universities are creating new track programs devoted to the study of planning and preservation. The Tonnesen Team is proud to announce that the team's membership now includes one of only two certified EcoBrokers^® in Las Vegas and Clark County. The designation consists of a total of 18 hours of continuing education in energy-efficiency, green building programs, indoor air quality, sustainable development, and environmental issues. EcoBroker^® trains real estate agents in green building and home technologies and practices so that they can help buyers find energy efficient homes or assist sellers to integrate and market green features in their homes.

EcoBrokers^® are equipped with the environmental information and tools that help them provide added value to all of their real estate transactions. EcoBroker training helps real estate agents address the newest topics in real estate, such as "green" home certification programs like Energy Star^® Qualified Homes, energy-efficiency, and sustainable design. The EcoBroker ^® designation also assists real estate agents in working through issues that may arise in real estate transactions, such as mold, radon, and poor indoor air quality. EcoBrokers grow their client base by attracting the green-minded consumer and providing valuable energy and environmental information to all types of clients.
