The Palms Hotel and
Casinos has finished building Palms Place, a 599 unit condo hotel tower as
part of its $600 million expansion program for the Palms,
which resides on 34 acres on West Flamingo Road. The expansion
introduces some firsts for Las Vegas and complements the
local and celebrity clientele known to frequent the Palms.
Developer Maloof says his
project is different because the Palms has a celebrity
following, and a significant number of stars -- including NFL
and NBA players, A-list Hollywood actors and rock stars -- will
be residing in the tower. The tower is exclusive
and only one will be built, unlike other projects where
multiple towers are planned over time.
“Since we opened the Palms in 2001, we have developed one of the
strongest brands in the gaming industry. Our property is known
worldwide.” Maloof said. “Our marketing strategy at the Palms
