Liberace Mansion for Sale Las Vegas
An historical remnant of Las Vegas’ colorful heyday made the news this week: the 15,000 square foot Liberace Mansion. Built in 1962, Liberace purchased the mansion in 1974 and made it uniquely his own. Containing only two bedrooms but a whopping 10 bathrooms, the mansion still exhibits evidence of Liberace's original decor, including large piano key decorations, ancient Greek pillars and a bedroom ceiling adorned with a $1.6 million reproduction of Michelangelo’s painting from the Sistine Chapel.

FHA Back to Work Extenuating Circumstances Program
Shortsale? Foreclosure? Bankruptcy? You may NOT have to wait 3 years or more to buy your next home under the new HUD “Back to Work” initiative announced August 15th. If you qualify for the program, you may already be able to purchase a home as an owner/occupant with an FHA loan.

Living in Henderson Nevada


 

 

 

 

The results from the FBI crime statistics are in, and Henderson Nevada made the 2012 list of the top 20 safest cities to live in the United States. Statistics took into account the size of the population vs the number of violent crimes, including rape and murder.

Ironically, in 2008 Henderson also made the Forbes top 10 list for the most boring cities to live in. Read the Details Here 

As a resident of Henderson, I am delighted with safe, and "boring" is just fine with me. Especially when in 12 minutes I can be at the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, which is about as un-boring as you can get.  And it's only 20 minutes to downtown and Fremont Street with its electric light canopy, live bands and street musicians.

PHAT PACK Las Vegas showsHaving lived in Las Vegas for more than 30 years, we are pretty darned spoiled when it comes to quality world-class entertainment. Whenever we go on a cruise, we seldom go to the “shows” because they don’t even come close to what we have on the Vegas Strip. We are true “show snobs.”

These economic indicators take into account average local income vs housing costs and rent ratios, Experts believe that even with a 31% appreciation rate over the past year, property prices will continue to increase steadily until Vegas reaches its true market value in another year or so.
