Join The City of Henderson Parks and Recreation department as they celebrate the 11th anniversary of Bark in the Park. Bark in the Park activities will take place at one of Henderson’s newest parks, Cornerstone Park. Expect five hours of fun for you and your pet.
Bark in the Park will include the following activities:
- Vendor booths
- Pet adoptions
- Fun contests and games
- Free admission
Each dog must be accompanied by a guest handler 10 years or older.
Let your dog be your guest of honor at Bark in the Park. Enjoy the day!

Rhodes Ranch Rummage Sale

10 am to 2 pm
The community wide rummage sale will be held on March 15th, 2014 from 10am to 2pm at the Recreation Center parking lot on Sherwood Greens and Rhodes Ranch Parkway. You can sign up for the rummage sale at the Recreation Center during hours of operation.
If you have things to sell, the cost for spots are $20. And you can rent tables for $5 and/or 2 chairs for $5. Make sure to stop by and get a spot before they're all filled up!

Summerlin Babysitter Training Course

This babysitter training course, authorized by the American Red Cross, is ideal for current and future babysitters, teaching them the best ways to be safe and keep the children in their care safe. Chapin Training Services, an authorized provider for the American Red Cross, teaches the following topics:

- The Business of Babysitting; Safe and Sound on the Job
- Understanding Kids from 0 to 10;
- From Feeding to Bedtime – Caring for Kids
- It’s an Emergency…Now What.
Pizza and soda lunch is included. Ages: 11 to 15 years old.
