Cowboy Barbecue of Henderson

Enjoy downtown Henderson's BBQ Cook Off competition and festival. Featuring the best BBQ vendors from across the U.S. Previous notable award winners and locals will gather to sell award winning ribs, chicken, sausage, pulled pork, and other mouth watering dishes.

This family friendly event will also include Live entertainment, souvenir/merchandise vendors, various other food & beverage vendors, carnival rides, midway games and much more.

The 51st Annual Art in the Park

The Boulder City Art in the Park is one of the largest outdoor art festivals held in the Southwest and is the largest annual fundraiser for the Boulder City Hospital Foundation. The event is held over two days in beautiful downtown Boulder City, Nevada, not far from the lights of Las Vegas. The event is free to the public, and each year the event draws over 100,000 visitors. The festival area includes Wilbur Square, Bicentennial Park and North and South Escalante Parks, as well as Arizona and Colorado Streets. Free parking is available throughout Boulder City, and paid parking is available in the old Boulder City Airport parking lot with shuttle service provided to the festival grounds.

The Age of Chivalry Renaissance Festival

 Each year Sunset Park transforms itself into a medieval kingdom, with lavishly costumed knights, knaves, fine ladies and wenches as the Clark County Parks and Recreation Department presents the annual Age of Chivalry Renaissance Festival.



Several stages will feature entertainment with costumed performers presenting more than 50 shows per day along with historical re-enactments, concerts, jousting tournaments, medieval pageantry and more than 100 artisans - including blacksmiths, stained glass designers, jewelers, wood workers, toy makers, perfume blenders, stone carvers and sword, dagger and armor craftsman -- to demonstrate and sell their wares. Authentic food, from fish and chips to an English feast, also will be available as well as beer and ales for adults with proper identification.

Lake Las Vegas Wine Walk

Stroll the cobblestoned streets of Montelago Village in beautiful Lake Las Vegas and enjoy up to 20 different wines for sampling provided by Southern Wine & Spirits and Lee's Discount Liquor. Tickets are $25 in advance through www.NewVistaNV.org and include your wine glass, sampling ticket and wine. All guests must be 21 years or older to participate.

The Las Vegas Zombie Run

The Las Vegas Zombie Run is a 5k and 1-mile fun run/walk to benefit local charity Generation Vegas. While the course is relatively easy, avoiding the zombies will be a bit more challenging. This trail run takes place at Sunset Park and each runner will wear a flag football-style belt. If you make it through the course with any of your flags left, you'll finish "alive," however, if the zombies take all of your flags... you'll finish "undead."

The 4th Annual Las Vegas Halloween Parade

Enjoy this annual downtown event that is inspired by the amazing Halloween events in New York and other cities. The "Come as You Aren't" parade and downtown party represents the passion, creativity, and community of urban living and culture in downtown Las Vegas. The parade is free to all participants and prizes will be awarded in a number of categories, so bring your imagination!
