LAS VEGAS COMMUNITIES

The city of Las Vegas has an estimated population of over 583,000 residents, although during high-traffic tourist periods it may seem larger. The city offers nonstop entertainment, with its ever-present casinos, big-name entertainers, and world-class restaurants along the Las Vegas Strip, as well as a wide range of performing and visual arts venues.

Many comprehensive master planned Las Vegas communities – such as Summerlin, the Southern Highlands, Red Rock Country Club, Desert Shores and The Lakes – have been developed in recent years to appeal to residents both young and old. These upscale communities offer some of the loveliest golf course homes in Las Vegas. In fact, the city operates 4 municipal golf courses immediately within its borders. The wide variety of amenities located within these communities includes state of the art sports and fitness centers, high-end shopping malls, vibrant community social centers and educational facilities, and jewel-like parks and wilderness preserves. Explore Las Vegas real estate

HENDERSON COMMUNITIES

The city of Henderson, NV is located in southeast Clark County. The second-largest city in Nevada (Pop. 257,729), Henderson stretches across the southeastern part of the Las Vegas Valley and beyond, spreading up into the southern foothills.  In response to the high rate of residential growth Henderson has seen in recent years, the City Council has been proactive in planning new schools, community centers, and parks within and around its many growing communities. Because of this, Henderson is now known for having double the number of parks per capita of any other Nevada city or town.

Henderson is well-known for its many residential areas and family-friendly communities. Popular Henderson communities include Anthem, Green Valley and Green Valley Ranch, Calico Ridge, MacDonald Highlands, Sun City Anthem, Madeira Canyon, Tuscany Residential Village, Seven Hills, Sun City MacDonald Ranch, and Whitney Ranch. These communities have been carefully planned to include amenities for both families and retirees, such as family-friendly parks, excellent public transportation, cinema complexes, shopping malls, state of the art hospitals and community amphitheaters. "Shakespeare in the Park" celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2006, a testament to Henderson's long standing support for the arts and cultural programs. Explore Henderson real estate

NORTH LAS VEGAS COMMUNITIES

North Las Vegas, with a population of just over 219,000, is one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the nation. The third largest city in Nevada after Las Vegas and Henderson, North Las Vegas extends across the northernmost region of Clark County, flanking the beautiful Sheep Mountains. North Las Vegas communities are known for their sociable atmosphere, development opportunities, and amenable city government. The city’s location close to Nellis Air Force Base makes it an especially popular residential area for military families.

North Las Vegas offers a broad range of housing styles, including many entry-level and step-up homes for growing families. Family recreational activities are supported by two large recreation centers in the area, a sizable sports complex, a notable historical site, and a golf course, as well as 28 parks encompassing almost 350 acres of land. Explore North Las Vegas real estate

BOULDER CITY COMMUNITIES

The small municipality of Boulder City nestles in the southeastern-most corner of Clark County. The city is adjacent to the historic Hoover Dam, and overlooks the Colorado River and neighboring Arizona. Downtown Boulder has a classic small-town atmosphere, with quaint shops, family style restaurants and impressive municipal buildings.

In an effort to maintain an environment of clean family living, Boulder City is one of only two cities in the state of Nevada with a prohibition on gambling activities. The City Council maintains strict controls on development, limiting permits for new construction to only 120 per year and restricting hotels to a size of 35 rooms or fewer. Unlike other areas within Las Vegas Valley, there are also no large master-planned communities. Residents and visitors alike enjoy the city’s several gemlike golf courses as well as the wilderness trails and year-round water activities available in Boulder’s Lake Mead Conservation Area. Explore Boulder City real estate
