I was born and raised in Ogden, Utah, a small community North of Salt Lake City. I attended Weber State College (before it became a University), University of Utah and LDS Business College. But then the allure of an exciting position in the mortgage industry deferred my college degree and got me started in real estate. 

I gained a thorough background in mortgages from A to Z, through underwriting and closing. During that same time my family owned and operated several retail and screen printing stores in Northern Utah. After selling our businesses in the early 1990's, my husband and I semi-retired and spent some quality time together pursuing personal goals while traveling extensively in our motor home. My husband re-built his 1975 Stingray (we are active members of the Las Vegas Corvette Club!), and I was able to go back to college and attend classes that truly interested me instead of being required learning. The challenge was well received. Then in 1996 my husband and I came to the Las Vegas area where he worked in the construction field building casinos during the boom years. I returned to the escrow field, and after working for several major escrow and title companies, I finally retired as the manager of a well known escrow company. But I have always loved real estate, and I had acquired my license while working in escrow for my own personal use: to buy and sell properties.

With a background in both mortgages and escrow, it was a natural progression to start my new career selling real estate. And I was lucky enough to be able to hand pick the company and team that I wanted to work with. I was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia (Former Yugoslavia).  It was a pleasure to work with Wei. She definitely put us at ease from the very beginning when we were in town for a decision trip whether we would select Las Vegas to live after retirement.
