Debra Leatham, a premier agent on the #1 Tonnesen Team at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nevada Properties would like to share her experience in assisting a family in the purchase of a brand new home here in Las Vegas.
This beautiful new home is located in the Richmond American community of Centennial Valley, just South of the 215 N between Jones and Decatur. It is an ideal location for commuting, shopping and many dining choices. This all single story community sold out quickly. The single story homes are spacious and open and appeal to today’s buyers as there is no wasted space. They had a great selection of basic options, plus upgrades. The community itself has walking paths and green areas for community gatherings.
My clients are from Chicago. They chose this area as it is close to longtime friends here in the Las Vegas Valley. This is their second home and hopefully their retirement home in the future. In the meantime, their son and daughter will be living here. Their son is pursuing a career in animal husbandry and looking to work with the many large animal Veterinary Hospitals and Habitats in the Valley. Their daughter is an actress who will be commuting to Los Angeles from Las Vegas, as well as hoping to land some modeling and acting jobs in Las Vegas. With the close access to the 215 Interchange the commute to McCarran and anywhere in the valley will be short.
This was a fun adventure for them building this home from Chicago. We were lucky to have an experienced salesman in Soap Van, who made the process of contracts and purchase very easy for my clients. I got to go to the Design Center with them and see the decisions they made. We had to wear hard hats, and that was fun as well. I got to go to the walk through with them and helped to keep the stress level low. The photo I have included is me with the superintendent and the customer service representative. It was so exciting to see how their choices all came together. All in all it was a great experience for us.
The buyers sent Debra a sweet note which read:
“Dear Debra,
Thank you so much for being a part of our adventure of searching and settling on building a new home in Vegas. We appreciate all of your help and guidance and most importantly your advice. We definitely couldn’t have done all of this without you. Your kindness, patience, concern and thoughtfulness will never be forgotten. Without you, I don’t think we would have ever survived. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”
