I am a married mom to 4 grown children, a grandmother of 6 and I am a REALTOR.   I am experienced, both professionally and personally with the logistics of local and long-distance moves.   I became a REALTOR in the greater Las Vegas area in 2001. I learned my way around the valley and all the outlying areas.  Small mountain communities?  Homes “off the grid”? Artesian wells? Master Plans?  Builders? Local amenities?  Horse properties?  Golf?  Active Adult communities?  I live in one!  School District?  Youth Sports?  Interesting historical facts and stories?  I’ve learned about them all.  And I’m still learning, as our community continues to grow and change.

It means I have the time to meet YOUR needs.  To help YOU find THE house to call home or to help you get your home sold for the price you need and within YOUR time frame.  I understand the challenges that come with moving a family, long or short distances and what may influence parents’ choices.  I've been fortunate to live in many places, I’ve moved from coast to coast and north to south, short and long distances.  I look forward to using this experience to make moves easier for my clients. 

It means I have the experience and expertise to avoid the potential pitfalls that I’ve seen in my career and tackle any issues that may arise. As a REATOR I am required to keep abreast of any changes to state and national real estate law and I am bound by a national Code of Ethics, but more importantly, my personal sense of responsibility dictates how I conduct my business.

It means I know the greater Las Vegas area and the market conditions because I continue to watch it grow and change. Statistics can be repeated by anyone, but personal knowledge of all the elements that make up our community, is, as some would say, priceless.  I have aided buyers and sellers through all the changes in our economy and our more recent challenges with Covid 19.

At that time we listed the property @ $65,000, which was more than twice the amount anyone had sold this size of acreage in this area before; we sold the land for the listed price without any prior negotiating. Chris Durno's dedication and skills were a huge factor in the sale of this land. This land is located 65 miles outside of Las Vegas, but without hesitation Chris accepted the task of listing and selling this remote property. She drove all potential clients up to the property; she never sent people up there leaving them to their own devices to find the 2 1/2 acres of land. Without her perseverance it may have taken years to sell this property, but, with Chris as our realtor we sold it within a few months time. 

So, when we recently wanted to sell our home and find another I didn't want any other realtor but Realtor Chris Durno at Berkshire Hathaway; neither should you.
