TAKING TITLE TO REAL ESTATE IN NEVADA

There are a number of options for buyers to choose from when deciding how to take title to real estate in Las Vegas. Below is a list of the choices that will appear on the vesting instructions to be given to the title company.

______SINGLE MAN (never been married)

______SINGLE WOMAN (never been married)

______UNMARRIED MAN (previously married, divorced, widowed)

______UNMARRIED WOMAN (previously married, divorced, widowed)

______A MARRIED ___________ (please indicate man/woman as their sole and separate property)

            Please provide your spouses name for deed:                                                                         

            JOINT TENANTS (Provides for Rights of Survivorship)

            (Two or More People, Married or Not)

            TENANTS IN COMMON  (You must specify what percentage of interest each will hold)

            COMMUNITY PROPERTY (Husband & Wife Only)

            COMMUNITY PROPERTY WITH RIGHT OF SURVIVORSHIP (Husband & Wife Only)

            OTHER (Specify):                                                                                                                  

The title company is not allowed to make suggestions on the best way to take title, so it is up to the buyer to do their research in advance or consult an attorney.
